Netcom Solutions

Netcom Solutions

Netcom has hired engineers to reach the envelope in designing and manufacturing RFand microwave technology for military and commercial applications. Netcom’s product lines, including filters, frequency control devices and custom assemblies are designed for the telecommunications, military, aerospace/avionics, satellite and medical imaging industries. Our engineers are experienced in designing products used in all frequency bands for radar, base station technology, satellite, point-to-point communication systems, defense and security system and medical imaging applications. The product categories listed below illustrates some of Netcom’s engineering capabilities.

Netcom has experience in designing microwave and RF systems for specific military and aerospace applications. Our multi-disciplined product development team works concurrently with the customer’s engineering team, to segregate the RF, microwave and power needs of the program. Then we develop a turnkey assembly for easy integration into the customer’s assembly line. Complex manufacturing, testing and tuning are part of the engineering services provided by Netcom engineers. Our team has developed products ranging from board level RF modules to complete transceiver units. Netcom’s experience includes spike noise filtering on MRI systems, cavity filters, co-site-filtering systems for military radios, custom picket/comb generators, RF power amplifiers, high power T/R switches for MRI systems, and a complete line of RF transceiver assemblies for wireless telecommunications, military and medical applications.

Netcom engineers have recently designed a line of frequency agile filters and assemblies for High Capacity Data Radio (HCDR), which can be used for most frequency hopping RF communication systems. Netcom recently designed a frequency agile cavity-based, band-pass filter, which is digitally tunable to any frequency between 225-450 MHz at 0.90 MHz increments. Netcom cavity filters are typically deployed in frequency hopping RF communication systems where transmit and receive signal-frequency varies, depending on a pre-defined or random sequence.

Netcom designs and manufactures custom RF components including oscillators, filters, phase locked loop synthesizers, picket/comb generators and Microstrip filters. Netcom actively seeks opportunities to develop custom solutions for commercial, industrial and military specifications. Our design team works closely with a customer’s engineering group to facilitate the development of unique RF and microwave components, encompassing custom frequencies and stringent phase noise requirements.

Netcom has developed the ULTRA series of TCXOs and VCTCXO's targeted for high frequency applications, including and exceeding 100Mhz. Key features for this oscillator line is the exceptional Phase Noise (typical -140 dBc/Hz @ 1kHz offset) and tight temperature stability (typical < ± 0.50 ppm) over -40°C to +85°C. The ULTRA series is offered in a small SMT footprint measuring 19 x 19 x 8.4 mm (L x W x H). Netcom offers a smaller package of standard VCTCXOs (Artus Series) for commercial and industrial applications. The Artus Series maintain ± 2.5 ppm frequency stability over a -30°C to 85°C temperature range and is available from 10Mhz to26Mhz carrier frequencies in a 5x7x2 mm footprint.

Netcom manufactures bandpass, low pass, high pass, notch & diplexer LC filters for radio frequencies from audio to 3 GHz and microwave frequencies up to 18 GHz. Special characteristics such as inter-modulation distortion phase & amplitude match, linear phase, pulse ringing and power dissipation are scheduled as part of the manufacturing process.
